Designing an AC75 is a careful balance of stability and speed. Boat Builder is your chance to see if you can master the art.
This game was built with the help of Dan Bernasconi, the lead designer for Emirates Team New Zealand, with the use of mathematical algorithms. It contains thousands of potential combinations of boat designs.
Put your boat to the test as you each create your own high performance AC75 sailboat. In this game you'll each use a tablet to choose the hull, keel, sail, foil and paint job.
As you make these decisions, think about how these will help or hinder the boat as it sails for the conditions shown. Once you're ready, beam it to the big screen and for your group to see! Will you get the best score?
