Factors that impact speed

Individual customers will experience different speeds at different times – sometimes higher and sometimes lower. Factors such as the performance of your modem, placement of the 5G Smart Modem within your house, location of the server you’re connected to, the performance of your device and your in-home WiFi setup can impact the speeds experienced.

For wireless connections factors such as the distance you are from a cell tower, environmental obstacles between your property and the cell tower, the network capability and the overall use of that cell tower by other consumers can impact the speed experienced.

Max Wireless Broadband speed explained

Max Wireless plans are Spark’s fastest Wireless Broadband plans available. To achieve this, they connect through a Spark 5G Smart Modem which leverages our 4G and 5G networks. You can expect a connection that connects on 4G, and 5G where conditions permit.

Reported speeds shown are Spark national peak time average speeds measured by SamKnows using Smart Modem 5G. You may experience higher or lower speeds than this. Using an older modem may impact your speeds.

Unlimited data - fair use policy

This plan is available at eligible addresses only, and a fair use policy applies.

This means you can't use the service in a way that is overly excessive or unreasonable.

This policy is based on how most people use the service and helps us make sure everyone using it gets to enjoy it. If you engage in overly excessive or unreasonable usage, we will contact you. If this usage continues, you will be given the choice to move to Fibre or a new plan. View fair use policy

Notice period (plan cancellation)

You’ll need to give us 30 days notice to end your plan, as we’ve set out in our General Terms

Netflix Standard

A Netflix Standard (HD) Streaming Plan allows you to stream on two devices at a time. You can select from awesome TV shows and blockbuster movies, with new and entertaining content added each week for the whole family.

Upgrade to Netflix Premium for $6.50/month to stream on four devices at a time in Ultra HD. You'll need to activate Netflix Standard before you upgrade to Premium.

This plan does not include a modem. You'll need to purchase the Spark 5G Modem with this plan or bring your own existing compatible Spark 5G Modem. Only Spark provided modems can be used with this Wireless plan.
