Experiencing issues with your phone? Try a soft reset to see if it helps. With a soft reset, the operating system is rebooted and all services are reloaded. This does not impact your personal data, files and apps.

Step 1:

To reboot your device, press and hold the power button and the volume up button on the side of your device until the screen turns off.

Step 2:

Your device will automatically reboot.

Step 3:

If you are asked to enter your PIN, enter your PIN code and tap OK.

Step 4:

Swipe up to unlock your device.

Your device has been rebooted. If the problem persists, try a factory reset to solve the problem. With a factory reset, the device is reset to its original factory settings.

Note: Factory resetting your phone will delete all of your apps, settings and data – including contacts and photos.
