One Number Wearable Plan Business Terms

We’ve set out below the terms that apply to our One Number Wearable Plan for Business customers. You agree to these Plan Terms (including any updates). In addition, our Business General Terms for all customers will always apply, and our Business Mobile Postpaid Agreement and other Business terms apply too.

Service overview

Who is eligible to buy this plan?

  1. Spark business mobile customers are able to buy this plan. It’s not currently available for prepaid, wholesale and corporate customers.
  2. The One Number Wearable Plan is a postpaid mobile plan for your smart watch.
  3. To have this plan, you must have the following:
    • An eligible wearable device
    • An eligible Spark Business postpaid mobile plan ( your “primary plan”); and
    • An eligible primary smartphone
  4. The eligible wearable devices are as follows: 
    • Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular)
    • Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular)
    • Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular)
    • The Spark network doesn't support models from the North American region. Learn more about bands, supported locations and carriers at apple.com/nz/watch/cellular
  5. Eligible primary plans are our current Spark business postpaid mobile plans.
  6. Eligible primary smartphones include all iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13.3 or later installed.
  7. The list of eligible wearable devices, smartphones and primary plans is subject to change.
  8. You can have up to two One Number Wearable plans per primary plan.

What’s included?

  1. This plan shares your primary plan’s mobile phone number, voice and text allowances. 
  2. This plan includes unlimited data for use in NZ (speeds reduce after 40GB of usage per billing cycle). You will still be able to use your data like you did before, but you will experience some degradation (such as lower video resolution) when watching video, streaming or loading images.

What isn't included?

  1. Spark’s standard rates apply to calling and text messages that are not included in your primary plan, for example, voice overage, international calling/texts or picture messages.
  2. This plan does not include value-added services, for example, Lightbox, Spotify Premium or Spark WiFi; Spark Socialiser; international roaming; international voice packs; and video calling.
  3. This plan does not include tethering and hotspot features, even if you can tether or hotspot data from your primary plan.

Other information

Notice period (cancellation)

  1. There is no minimum term for this plan. You can cancel this plan at any time by notifying Spark customer services. Plan charges and your service will stop 30 days after we receive your notification.

Traffic management

  1. We might have to pause, restrict, end or slow performance of your service if it’s necessary for us to protect our networks or manage traffic over our networks. We’ve covered this at clause 6.6 of our General Terms. You also need to use our services fairly – we’ve set out our rules on this at clause 2.6 of our General Terms.

Prohibited usage

  1. Machine-to-machine services, tethering, mobile hotspots or any other similar activity that Spark considers to be non-standard usage is prohibited (“Prohibited Usage”). If we consider you are engaging in Prohibited Usage, we may ask you to stop such usage and if it continues, remove your subscription immediately without notice.

Roaming

  1. International roaming is not available on the One Number Wearable Plan.
