  2. Home Packages are only available to personal customers with their home phone line, calling and broadband with Spark. Other Information

Minimum Contract Period

  1. All Spark Home Phone Plans and Spark Home Packages are subject to a minimum 30-day charge. Subject to any other minimum term period you agree to you may disconnect your service within your first 30 days, however, you’ll still be charged for 30 days.

Early Termination Fee

  1. You may agree to a minimum term contract in association with an offer that includes a Spark Home Package. If you terminate your Spark Home Package before the end of your 12-month period, you may need to pay an early termination fee (as set out in our General Terms). The early termination fee is $199. There is no early termination fee payable for a Spark Home Phone Plan.

Notice Period (cancellation)

  1. You’ll need to give us 30 days’ notice to end your plan, as we’ve set out in our General Terms.
  2. Your calling plans will remain on your account unless you tell us to remove them.

Changing Your Plan

  1. You may change your Spark Home Phone Plan or Spark Home Package within the first 30 days of service, however, you’ll still be charged for a full 30 days of service and we’ll commence charging for your new Spark Home Phone Plan or Spark Home Package from the date of your plan change. For this reason, we don’t recommend plan changes within the first 30 days of service.
  2. If you change your Spark Home Plan or Spark Home Package during your minimum contract period you will not be required to start a new minimum term contract, the current minimum term left in your contract will continue until it ends.

Fair Use Policy

  1. Our Plans have a Fair Use Policy – we set out more detail on this in our General Terms at clause 2.6. As examples, the following uses would be considered to breach this policy – business use, automated call messaging, monitoring services, broadcast fax or outbound call centres.
