  • $99.99 Unlimited Group Plan: Unlimited data (max speeds reduced after 22GB, no tethering or hotspots), talk, text, Lightbox Standard, Spotify Premium. Restricted to one plan per account and enables the ability to add up to three $29.99 Unlimited Companion Plans.
  • $29.99 Unlimited Companion Plan: Unlimited data (max speeds reduced after 22GB, no tethering or hotspots), talk, text, half-price Spotify Premium. Can only be bought if a $99.99 Unlimited Group Plan is active on the customer's account. Maximum of three companion plans per account.

Unlimited Group Plan and Unlimited Companion Plan must all be on the same account number and will be subject to the same billing cycle.

Your billing cycle won’t change if you add plans part way through your billing cycle. However, in the event that you add a mobile plan part way through a billing cycle you'll be charged for a part month so that we can bring all your lines into sync with your next bill.

Orphaned Unlimited Group Plan or Unlimited Companion Plans

  • In the event that a $99.99 Unlimited Group Plan has no $29.99 Unlimited Companion Plans added on the same account, the account holder will be notified within 10 days
    • The account holder may choose to remain on the $99.99 Unlimited Group Plan or contact Spark to:
      • Change the $99.99 Unlimited Group Plan to a $79.99 Unlimited Plan or other Spark Pay Monthly mobile plan
      • Add up to three $29.99 Unlimited Companion Plans
  • In the event that the $99.99 Unlimited Group Plan on an account is inactive or removed, Spark will take one of the following actions on a customer’s account and notify the account holder:
    • In the event there's more than one $29.99 Unlimited Companion Plan, the oldest Unlimited Companion Plan on the account will be upgraded to a $99.99 Unlimited Group Plan
    • In the event there's only one $29.99 Unlimited Companion Plan on the account, this remaining plan will be upgraded to a $79.99 Unlimited Plan

  • Your data:
    • Unlimited data for personal New Zealand use on your mobile only
    • It can only be used by other devices when a Hotspot extra is bought (Hotspot extra is bought on a per line basis)
    • Excludes roaming data
    • Max speeds reduced after 22GB of data usage per line per billing cycle. The reduction will only impact a user that's exceeded 22GB. Other Unlimited Group Plan or Unlimited Companion Plan users that haven't exceeded 22GB won't be affected. You'll still be able to use your data, but you'll experience some degradation (such as lower video resolution) when watching video, streaming or loading images.
  • Calls and texts:
    • You get unlimited calls and texts to standard New Zealand and Australian numbers (you need to be texting or calling another person)
    • Excludes premium, special numbers and roaming
  • Machine-to-machine services:
    • Tethering, mobile hotspots or any other similar activity that Spark considers to be non-standard personal usage is prohibited (Prohibited Usage). If we consider you're engaging in Prohibited Usage we may ask you to stop such usage. If it continues, we may remove your subscription immediately with notice.
  • Network management:
    • Service may be slowed, suspended, terminated or restricted for misuse or interference with our network
    • Spark reserves the right to remove the offer or the plan from the market (and recommend migration to the best alternative plan) in accordance with our standard terms
  • Plan transfer:
    • Pay Monthly customers who have a minimum term and want to move to any open-term plan, including Spark Unlimited Mobile Plans, will have to pay any applicable disconnection fees. Refer to our Schedule of Disconnection Fees and Termination Charges (pdf 335KB)
  • Devices sold separately
  • Discounts and offers: Plan may not be eligible for offers, credits or discounts
