  3. If you don’t add a landline, your plan is called VDSL Naked.

Availability

  1. Our VDSL Broadband service may be offered if:
    1. standard ADSL broadband is available; and
    2. the copper line performance is good enough to run high-speed VDSL

Other Information

Minimum Contract Period

  1. The minimum contract period is 12 months.

Early Termination Fee

  1. If you terminate your plan before the end of your 12 month period, you will need to pay an early termination fee of $199. This is explained further in clauses 6.1 – 6.5 of our General Terms.

Notice Period (cancellation)

  1. You’ll need to give us 30 days’ notice to end your plan, as we’ve set out in our General Terms.

Other Requirements

  1. If you purchase landline for your broadband plan, we require you to have your toll calling with Spark, in addition to your broadband and landline.
  2. To get Naked VDSL you will need to receive your monthly bill online.

Traffic Management

  1. We manage traffic which may influence your broadband performance. This means we might have to pause, restrict, end or slow the performance of your service if it’s necessary for us to protect our networks or manage traffic over our networks. See clause 6.6 of our General Terms for more details.

Service Restrictions

  1. We have some service restrictions which may impact you. See clauses 6.6 – 6.10 of our General Terms for more details.

Fair Use

  1. You need to use our services fairly – we’ve set out our rules on this at clause 2.6 of our General Terms.

Effects on Other Services

  1. VDSL Broadband: As VDSL runs over a standard phone line it doesn't have adverse effects on other services in your home, like a monitored alarm, SKY TV or a fax machine. We recommend checking with the provider of any existing services like these to ensure they will operate with this service. In the event of a power outage your phone line will continue to work, assuming your phone doesn’t require power, but broadband will not.
  2. Naked VDSL Broadband: Naked broadband means you won’t have a landline included, but you can add this for $10 a month. If you have a monitored home alarm, medical alarm, fax, or order pay-per-view movies, these services will no longer work without a landline.
