Auto Top Up and Auto Renew - Retired

Terms and conditions:

You can use your debit or credit card to:

  • Set up automatic top ups
  • Set up automatic renewals of value packs and extras

If you use your card for automatic top ups and/or automatic renewals, we'll save the card details in our systems to allow for future use with Spark.

  • You can set up and manage your card using MySpark or the app. The cardholder can remove any automated transactions and card details at any time. Sign in to MySpark
  • Automatic top ups occur on the date you specify in MySpark or the app
  • Automatic renewals will occur as soon as your previous pack or extra expires, unless cancelled prior in MySpark or the Spark app
  • The nominated top up value or the cost of the renewing pack or extra will be charged to your nominated card. As the customer it's your responsibility to make sure you have enough funds on your credit/debit card.
  • If the card transaction via IP Payments fails, the pack or extra won't be available for use or the requested top up won't be successful. If a payment is unsuccessful you won't be able to reattempt payment with this card. If you wish to continue your previous product, your options are:
    • Top up your account and buy your product manually via MySpark, the app, in store, on the phone or using a voucher
    • Change the nominated debit or credit card via MySpark or the app and buy your product manually

Auto Renew will only take payment from your nominated debit or credit card, not your prepaid credit balance.

If your Auto Renew card payment fails your pack or extra will be put on hold for a five day grace period. You'll need to top up with enough credit to complete the purchase of your pack or extra. Once you've successfully topped up your pack or extra will automatically renew. To ensure your next renewal is successful, you can leave the same card details or set up a new card in MySpark or the app. After the five day grace period, the pack or extra will expire and you'll need to buy a new one and set up a new Auto Renew.
