Spark Sport Grand Prix Time Trials terms - Retired

  1. By participating in the Spark Sport Grand Prix Time Trials competition (the Competition), you confirm that you accept and agree to these competition terms. Spark New Zealand Trading Limited (Spark) is the promoter of the Competition.
  2. This competition commences on 27 February 2021and ends on 24 March 2021 (Competition Period). During the Competition Period, you may enter the Competition by booking a Time Trial appointment through http://spark.co.nz/booking and submitting your fastest lap at Spark Commercial Bay during your appointment time.
  3. A Red Bull or Spark brand ambassador will operate the competition entry at the Spark Commercial Bay store and will provide these terms and conditions to you. This is the Entry Window.
  4. This competition is a Game of Skill and is open to both Spark customers and non-Spark customers and is not open to employees of Spark, its agents, contractors, consultants, or their families (including de facto spouses) or to other persons assisting with this competition.
  5. To be entered into the competition, participants must complete a time trial in the Formula One 2019 game, on the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit course, in the Spark Commercial Bay store and submit the entry form in accordance with the Spark ambassador’s directions during an Entry Window. The fastest lap time from these three laps is then recorded as their best lap time. The participant can only complete one official time trial during a competition period (detailed below). The entrant needs to provide accurate Lap Time, Name, Phone number and Email address information to the Spark/Red Bull brand ambassador, who will enter these in the provided entry form.
  6. The participants with the top time each week, will each win a double pass to the Virtual Race Finals held in Spark Commercial Bay on 27 March 2021.This will secure them one of four spots to compete in the Spark Sport Grand Prix to win the grand prize pack (see clause 7 for details) as well as bring one guest of their choice.
  7. The Spark Sport Grand Prix will be a 15 lap race between four competitors in the Formula One 2019 game, on the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit course. The event will be held on Saturday, 27 March between the times of 2-6pm. The winner of the race will win the following prize pack:
    • A year’s supply of Red Bull (1 x case of 24 cans per month for 12 months),
    • A 1-year subscription to Spark Sport,
    • An Xbox Series X,
    • An Astro A50 Wireless Gaming Headset. 
  8. The individual competition dates are as follows:
    • Week 1 (Feb 27th-March 5th)
    • Week 2 (March 6th-March 12th)
    • Week 3 (March 13th-March 19th)
    • Week 4 (March 20th-March 24th)
  9. By entering, participants’ consent to Spark using their data for purposes relating to the competition and to provide the participant with information about the products featured as part of the Competition. Any personal information collected as part of this competition will be held by Spark and its privacy policy. You have the right to access, update and correct such information. Read Privacy Policy
  10. Accepting a prize constitutes the winner's agreement to making themselves available for interviews and/or photography and their consent to Spark using their name, city/town of residence, competition entry details, and photographs for competition and publicity purposes. This is without compensation.
  11. Spark accepts no responsibility or liability for any prize winner’s enjoyment of any prize, or any other costs and expenses that may be incurred by the prize winner relating to the prize or the winner’s enjoyment of that prize.
  12. All valid entries received by 11:59pm on the final day of the entry periods defined above will be considered by Spark for selection as a potential winner. All late entries are deemed invalid.
  13. The winners will be selected and notified by phone one business day after the competition windows above close.
  14. Spark will make reasonable attempts to contact the winners, but if a winner is not able to be contacted or is unable to compete in the Spark Sport Grand Prix in accordance with the terms and conditions within one day from the first contact attempt; the customer with the next fastest time will be contacted.
  15. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged or redeemed for cash. Spark takes no responsibility for entries or prizes that are lost or destroyed.
  16. Spark is not responsible or liable for any late, lost or misdirected entries. Nor is Spark responsible for any problems or technical malfunction which may result in delay or failure to enter you into the competition.
  17. The decisions of Spark relating to this competition are final. No correspondence will be entered into. Spark reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner's right to redeem the prize under these terms and conditions. Spark reserves the right to amend the prizes offered and these terms and conditions. Spark has absolute discretion to cancel the competition at any time, without notice.
  18. To the extent permitted by law, Spark excludes any liability it may have to you arising out of or in connection with this competition.
