IoT Bridge: Add devices

  1. Log in to the IoT Bride and click Register single device.
  2. You can only add devices you have purchased from Spark. Make sure you have the devices handy as you will need the DevEUI code you can find on the label on the device or the packaging.
  3. Log in to IoT Bridge, and click “Add device” on the Device Insights page.
  4. On the “Register single device” page, copy the device DevEUI from either the label on the device or the packaging and click “Validate device”.
  5. Fill out device name, Group (optional), and any additional information (optional).
  6. Review the details and click “Confirm” (click “Back” if you need to change the details).
  7. All done.
  1. Log in to IoT Bridge Portal and click on Bulk Device Registration under Device insights. 

  2. Select Browse and upload the CSV file including DevEUI details that was sent with your new devices.

  3. Once the CSV file is uploaded successfully, you'll be provided with an option to edit the device name and to assign the device to a particular group.

  4. After the device name and group details have been entered, select Next to complete the Bulk device Registration.

    If the DevEUI is invalid or incorrect, an error will appear on the Bulk device registration screen. Please review and correct as required.

  5. All done.
