Troubleshoot: Device replacement

If your sensor has been confirmed as faulty by the Spark IoT Support Desk, we will organise a replacement if needed. Note that outside of warranty period and scope, charges for the new device will apply. When replacing a sensor we recommend you generate a one-off report to export the sensor data, and store it locally.

Once the sensor has been replaced, Spark IoT will erase any data the sensor has previously generated. Your replacement sensor with create its own unique data set. See the Reports section for how to generate an ad hoc report.
