Frequently asked questions 

To check if you’re eligible to upgrade, you can do this in the Spark app, or through MySpark. You’ll need to have no interest free payments remaining on your mobile.  You can find out whether you have any payments remaining in the Products section of both MySpark and the Spark app.

You might also need to change to an eligible plan, depending on the new phone you're after. Our friendly team in store will be able to let you know your options, and you’ll also see these online when you purchase your new phone. Find your nearest Spark store

You can upgrade online, in store or by calling or messaging us.

  1. Select your desired phone from the carousel above, or check out our phone gallery to see our full range of phones. View all phones
  2. Once you’ve chosen your device, select Buy now and you can complete your purchase. 
In store and Click & Collect
  1. Chat to our friendly team in store about your upgrade options. Find your nearest Spark store
  2. Click and Collect: If you're ready to upgrade now, why not try our Click & Collect in store option. Choose your phone above and select the Click & Collect delivery option before you complete your order. Select your nearest store and they'll contact you as soon as your order is ready to pick up.

There are no additional fees to upgrade, however, there may be other costs that apply.

  • Early termination or interest free payment fees: If you're on a contract plan term or have any interest free payments remaining, you'll need to pay these off before you can purchase a new phone.  
  • New phone minimum payment: There will be a minimum $99 deposit required on phones over $1000. Deposit may be higher, subject to credit criteria. 

If you no longer need your old phone, we have a couple of options to help.
