Manage CMN-Fortinet Health

CMN-Fortinet Health is a Spark service that provides Medical and Healthcare facilities access to the Ministry of Health. This page helps Spark's CMN-Fortinet Health customers with the following actions:

  • Who to contact for help with Service failures.
  • How to make a change to an existing service.
  • How to add and remove additional features such as Remote VPN, Advanced Security and WiFi.
  • Self-managing and monitoring your CMN-Fortinet Health capabilities.

To register a CMN-Fortinet Health account for your business, contact your local Spark representative. View Business Hubs

If you experience an outage or other service failure, we'll make sure you get the help you need. There are two ways to get in contact.

  1. Send an email to FortinetHealth.servicedesk@spark.co.nz
    • In your email we'll need the following information:
      • Retailer ID number:
        • Here's an example: ADOM: adm_con-akl-110055-aucklandra
        • The retailer ID number is the group of numbers within the string.
        • The retailer ID is on a sticker on the back of your device.
      • Connected health site name:
      • Description of fault:
      • Router light stats:
      • ONT Light stats (if fibre):
      • Site hours:
      • Site contact person:
      • Address:
  2. Give us a call at 0800 224 455 and choose Option 4 for technical support.

FortiClient uses SSL and IPSec VPN to provide secure, reliable access to corporate networks and applications from almost any remote location that's internet-connected. FortiClient simplifies remote users' experiences by using built-in auto-connect and always-on VPN features.

How to apply for Remote VPN

If you want to add Remote VPN to your existing Fortinet Health Service, please complete the form. Go to Fortinet change request form.

How to set up FortiClient

To access your remote VPN, you will need to download Forti-client to your PC or laptop. Please follow the instructions in the FortiClient VPN Install and Setup Guide to complete the installation.

For forgotten Remote VPN passwords or to add and remove users

If you have an IT Partner, they can rest your password for you. If not, give us a call at 0800 224 455 and choose Option 4 for technical help. 

 

For requests to:

  • Move of Address – New Site 
  • Move of Address – Internal (same physical address) 
  • Change of Ownership
  • Disconnection 
  • Change Broadband / Underlay type e.g., ADSL to Fibre or Wireless 
  • Add/ Remove Wireless Primary
  • Add/ Remove Wireless Backup
  • Add/Remove Wi-Fi 
  • Add/ Remove Advance Security

Give us a call at  0800 482 290 and choose Option 2, then Option 3; or send an email to Corporate_Data@spark.co.nz.

Note: Making changes to your broadband or wireless service will impact your CMN Fortinet Health service. You must ensure that the Spark representative you talk to about your change knows CMN Fortinet Health uses your broadband or wireless service.

Managing and monitoring CMN-Fortinet Health's capabilities

You, your IT person or IT partner can monitor and manage some of your secure SD-WAN capabilities within FortiPortal. FortiPortal is your self-service customer portal. 

The following capabilities can be accessed there:

  • SD-WAN monitoring and templates
  • Policies and Objects
  • Analytical Dashboards
  • Views and Reports
  • WiFi
  • Audit

How to log into FortiPortal

  1. Go to Spark's FortiPortal
  2. Enter your User ID in the User name field.
  3. Once logged in, you will receive a one-time security code by text or email. The code is a second layer of security to make sure access is granted only to verified users.
  4. Enter the security code into the prompt screen.
  5. You are now logged in and you will be presented with the dashboard screen.
