Business Broadband Queenstown prize draw promotion terms and conditions

By participating in this Competition (the “Competition”), you confirm that you accept and agree to these Competition Terms. 

• The Promoter of this Competition is Spark New Zealand Trading Limited (“Spark”).
• This Competition is only open to New Zealand residents 18 years and above who are new or existing Spark Business Broadband customers placing an order to join or move to an eligible Business Broadband plan. It is not open to employees of Spark, its agents, contractors, consultants, or their families (including de facto spouses) or to other persons assisting with this Competition. 
• Any new or existing customer that places an order to join or move onto an eligible Spark Business Broadband plan between 29 July 2022 and 11:59pm on 9 September 2022 is eligible to enter the Competition. Customers must also have a valid billing or contact email address registered with Spark to receive the entry form. The eligible plans are listed below:
  • Wireless Broadband - Business Wireless
  • Wireless Broadband - Business Max Wireless
  • Fibre Broadband - Business Fibre
  • Fibre Broadband - Business Fibre plus Landline
  • Fibre Broadband - Business Max Fibre
  • Fibre Broadband - Business Max Fibre plus Landline
• To enter, eligible customers must complete and submit the entry form that will be supplied to them by Spark via an email to their billing or contact email address once their Business Broadband order is confirmed in writing with their Spark representative. This email should arrive within 7 working days of confirming the Broadband order. If this email is not received during this timeframe, the customer should contact their Spark representative to check status.
  
• This Competition entry period commences on 29 July 2022 and ends at 11:59pm on 30 September 2022.
• The winner will be drawn on 3 October 2022 at random and notified either in person or by phone and/or email between 3 October 2022 and 7 October 2022.
• Spark is not responsible if you have caused, or are responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries which result in delay or failure to enter you into the draw. All valid entries received via the online form by 11:59pm on 30 September 2022 will go into the draw. Only one entry per business is permitted. There will be one winner only.
• The prize for the winner is a return trip for two adults to Queenstown, which will be in the form of:
  • Booking credit (up to the maximum value of $4,000 incl GST) with NZ Travel Brokers; and
  • A $1,000 Prezzy card.

• Please note the following travel terms regarding the Prize:
  • Each person travelling (i.e. the winner and their travelling companion, together “travellers”) pursuant to the Prize must be at least 18 years or older. The travellers MUST have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and , which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. This is the responsibility of the travellers. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities (including any costs associated with delay) will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

  • Subject to the clause below, the NZ Travel Brokers booking credit can only be used to book:
    • Return flights for two adults from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch to Queenstown;
    • 3 nights’ accommodation (twin share) in Queenstown; and
    • Return airport transfers in Queenstown.

        (Together, the “Bookings”).

• The travellers do not require flights to Queenstown due to already living in or being close to Queenstown, they may use the booking credit on further accommodation or transfer options within Queenstown, so long as the total cost does not exceed $4,000.
• Bookings must be made by the winner through NZ Travel Brokers no later than 15 December 2022, and the travellers must complete their Queenstown trip before 1 March 2023.
• Bookings are not available during long weekends or school or public holidays and are subject to availability outside of these times.
• Flight tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. The flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airline's departure city and their current flight schedule.
• Any changes to the travel dates, additional accommodation outside the travel period or scope of Bookings that are requested or made by the winner, which incur additional costs, are to be paid by the winner.
• If the total value of the Bookings does not reach $4,000, the winner will not be entitled to receive or claim the difference between $4,000 and the value of the Bookings in cash or credit. This difference will be forfeited once Bookings are finalised with NZ Travel Brokers.
• The travellers are responsible for making their own way to the relevant departing airport (Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch only) to Queenstown at their own costs.
• The travellers will be responsible for all expenses not included in the Prize, including, but not limited to, extra spending money, meals, drinks, transport, laundry charges, activities, mini-bar, room service, telephone calls, incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), gratuities, services charges, passports, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the travellers at check-in to the accommodation, for all incidental charges.
• Spark recommends that travellers obtain travel insurance to protect themselves against additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• Spark makes no representation as to safety, conditions and other issues that may exist at any destination or experience in the Prize. The winner accepts the Prize at their own risk.

• All entries to this Competition become the property of Spark and will not be returned to the entrants.
  
  
• Spark accepts no responsibility or liability for any Prize winner’s enjoyment of any prize or any other costs and expenses that may be incurred by the Prize winner relating to the Prize or the winner’s enjoyment of that prize.
• Spark will endeavour to notify the selected winner by text, phone or email and deliver the Prezzy card by courier, but reserves the right to notify selected winners and deliver prizes by other means. Spark’s notification will include instructions on contacting NZ Travel Brokers for the Bookings.
• Spark will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner, but if the winner is not able to be contacted or is unable to redeem the Prize in accordance with the terms and conditions within 7 days from the first contact attempt; the Prize will be redrawn in their place without liability to any person.
• The Prize can't be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. 
• Accepting a prize constitutes the winner's consent to Spark to using their name, their associated business name, city/town of residence, competition entry and/or photographs for Competition or publicity purposes without compensation.
• The decisions of Spark on all matters relating to this Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Spark reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner's right to redeem the Prize in accordance with these terms and conditions. In the event that the Prize is not available due to events outside of Spark’s reasonable control, Spark may amend the Prize offered provided that any substitute will be of an equivalent value to the Prize offered.
• To the extent permitted by law, Spark excludes any liability it may have to the winner and/or the travellers arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Competition.
• Any personal information collected as part of this Competition will be held by Spark in accordance with its privacy policy. You have the right to access, update and correct such information.
