Ultimate Time Trial terms - Retired

  1. By participating in the Ultimate Time Trial competition (the Competition), you confirm that you accept and agree to these competition terms. Spark New Zealand Trading Limited (Spark) is the promoter of the Competition.
  2. This competition commences on 8 October 2020 and ends on 26 October 2020 (Competition Period). During the Competition Period, you may enter the Competition whenever a Spark brand ambassador is operating the competition entry facilities during the daily competition entry periods notified at the Spark Commercial Bay store (Entry Windows).
  3. This competition is a Game of Skill and is open to both Spark customers and non-Spark customers and is not open to employees of Spark, its agents, contractors, consultants, or their families (including de facto spouses) or to other persons assisting with this competition.
  4. To be entered into the competition, participants must complete a time trial of three laps in the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit Xbox One X game in the Spark Commercial Bay store and submit the entry form in accordance with the Spark ambassador’s directions during an Entry Window. The fastest lap time from these three laps is then recorded as their best lap time. The participant can only complete one official time trial per day and a maximum of three total time trials over the course of the competition. Their recorded time will be added to a leaderboard in-store. The entrant needs to provide accurate Lap Time, Name, Phone number and Email address information to the Spark ambassador, who will enter these in the provided entry form.
  5. The leaderboard in-store at Commercial Bay will display the Participant’s first name, last initial and time for the top six lap times.
  6. By entering, participants’ consent to Spark using their data for purposes relating to the competition and to provide the participant with information about the products featured as part of the Competition. Any personal information collected as part of this competition will be held by Spark and its privacy policy. You have the right to access, update and correct such information . Read Privacy Policy
  7. We will select one Grand Prize winner, one 2nd Place winner and one 3rd Place winner. These will be determined by the times scored when they entered the competition. We will also have five spot prizes for customers who share their leaderboard photo on social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) with the hashtag #sparkcommercialbay. We’ll collate these social posts and randomly draw five winners. They will be contacted through the details in their competition entry.
  8. The Grand Prize winner will receive:
    • Ultimate Time Trial Trophy
    • Xbox One X
    • Logitech G923 Racing wheel
    • Driving force shifter
  9. The 2nd Place winner will receive:
    • Astro A50 Headset for Xbox/PC
  10. The 3rd Place winner will receive:
    • Astro A20 Headset for Xbox/PC
  11. The Spot Prize winners will receive:
    • Astro A20 Headset for Xbox/PC
  12. The Spot Prize winners will be determined at Spark’s sole discretion.
  13. Accepting a prize constitutes the winner's agreement to making themselves available for interviews and/or photography and their consent to Spark using their name, city/town of residence, competition entry details, and photographs for competition and publicity purposes. This is without compensation.
  14. Spark accepts no responsibility or liability for any prize winner’s enjoyment of any prize, or any other costs and expenses that may be incurred by the prize winner relating to the prize or the winner’s enjoyment of that prize.
  15. All valid entries received by 11:59pm on 26 October 2020 will be considered by Spark for selection as a potential winner. All late entries are deemed invalid.
  16. The winners will be selected and notified either in person or by phone and/or email between 28 October and 3 November 2020.
  17. Spark will make reasonable attempts to contact the winners, but if a winner is not able to be contacted or is unable to redeem the prize in accordance with the terms and conditions within two days from the first contact attempt; the prize will be re-selected in his or her place without liability to any person.
  18. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged or redeemed for cash. Spark takes no responsibility for entries or prizes that are lost or destroyed.
  19. Spark is not responsible or liable for any late, lost or misdirected entries. Nor is Spark responsible for any problems or technical malfunction which may result in delay or failure to enter you into the competition.
  20. The decisions of Spark relating to this competition are final. No correspondence will be entered into. Spark reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner's right to redeem the prize under these terms and conditions. Spark reserves the right to amend the prizes offered and these terms and conditions. Spark has absolute discretion to cancel the competition at any time, without notice.
  21. To the extent permitted by law, Spark excludes any liability it may have to you arising out of or in connection with this competition.
