  • Charges listed for incoming and outgoing calls while roaming are charged per minute (you pay the full minute rate for each minute or part minute)
  • Texts are charged per text (160 character limit per text message)
  • Data roaming is charged in 10kb increments. For more info on managing your data use while travelling, check out Controlling My Data Roaming Usage
  • When roaming, MMS messages are charged at the standard data roaming rate for the zone you are in
  • To retrieve a voicemail while overseas you will be charged the standard per minute rate for an outgoing call in the zone you are in
  • Prepaid customers will receive a charge for any voicemails deposited in their voicemail box while roaming, even if their device is switched off. This is charged at the standard per min rate for receiving calls while roaming.
  • Due to the geographical nature and size of some countries, Spark cannot guarantee service availability in all areas. Spark is not responsible for the performance of our roaming partners' networks and some remote areas on our roaming partners' networks may not have coverage.
Aussie Roaming Value Packs
  • Packs are available for either 7 days or a month.
  • The packs data allowance has been set based on the insight that average daily data usage when roaming is 25MB.
  • The incoming calling allowances have also been included to allow customers to receive calls on their mobile.
  • The outgoing calling allowance is for use within Australia as well as any country around the world.
  • The included texts allowance is for sending texts to Australian numbers as well as sending messages overseas.
  • The $19 Value Pack can be purchased as a one-off pack, whereas, the $39 pack can be purchased as either a one-off pack or as a recurring pack.
  • Once the pack is used customers will revert to casual rates – i.e. $10/day for data (Pay monthly)/$1 per MB (Prepaid), 49c/min making calls, $1 receiving calls, 80c per text.
  • The inclusions within this pack apply for Prepaid and Pay monthly roaming usage in Australia only – allowances are not valid within New Zealand, or in other roaming destinations (including Cruise Ships or Flights).
