Understand Emergency Mobile Alerts
We've partnered with the Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management to send Emergency Mobile Alerts. These alert people if their lives, property or health are at serious risk.
Messages get sent to mobile phones that are enabled to receive these alerts. Alerts can be targeted to areas affected by serious hazards.
They are sent to every enabled phone in the targeted area. The system uses cell broadcast technology to do this, so you don't need to sign up for them.
