eFax installing, training and user guides

Find all the information you need to get eFax up and running for your business


Download the eFax software

Download a copy of the eFax Application for Windows 95/98/NT/2000. (efax_install.zip - 3218KB) 

Once you have downloaded the eFax Application, unzip then run efax_install.exe to install it on your PC:

  • browse to the directory containing the download file
  • unzip the contents of the file
  • run the efax_install.exe file that has been unzipped
  • Follow the instructions in the eFax installation guide.

Installation guide

The eFax installation guide (PDF 549KB) walks you through the steps required to install eFax on your PC either from the eFax CD or after downloading the software from the Internet. It is illustrated with easy to follow screen displays that demonstrate each part of the installation process.

User Guide

The eFax user guide (PDF 746KB) provides information that will assist you to use eFax to your maximum advantage. Topics covered range from the most simple operations such as sending a simple fax through to more complex tasks such as mail merges.

eFax training

The eFax training course is targeted at new eFax users. The training course will take you through a series of steps that will teach you the basics of using eFax. It is highly recommended for anyone that has not used eFax before.

The training course is available on the eFax CD or can be downloaded (5545KB). To download the training course you will need to have at least 6 MB of free space on your PC. The download may take some time depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

Once you have downloaded the training course, unzip and run efaxcbt.exe to install it on your PC:

  • browse to the directory containing the download file
  • unzip the contents of the file
  • run the efaxcbt.exe file that has been unzipped
