Cloud Phone call recording

How call recording works

Call recording needs to be enabled for individual users by Spark. By default, all calls will be recorded and the recording will be stored in the Cloud.

You'll have access to the Cloud Phone recording portal to listen to and download call recordings.

Calls will be stored for 90 days

You can download the recordings and store them in the media of your choice.

All call recordings are stored in the network database with secure access.

Accessing and downloading call recordings

If you have an admin login to the Cloud Phone recording portal, you can access the call recording storage and download all or selected recordings.

If you don't want individual users to have access to the recordings, please let us know when you request the service.

Spark will not have access to the call recordings.

Recording calls

Let us know what type of recording you'd like to set up for each user. You can change the settings via Cloud Phone customer admin portal, in the User edit menu in Recordings section.

  • Always: Every call will be recorded.
  • Always with pause and resume: If you use the Cloud Phone app, you can pause and resume call recording during the call.
  • On demand: If you use the Cloud Phone app, you can start and stop call recording during the call.
  • On demand using *44 code: If you're using a desktop IP phone, you can put the call on hold and dial *44 to start call recording.

Call recording notifications

Call recording notification is optional, and settings control it. Call recording notification will be switched off by default. You can change this via Cloud Phone customer admin portal, in the User edit menu in Recordings section.

Call recording charges

The charge is $8 excluding GST per instance per month. Standard site visit and/or MAC fee charges will apply.
