Ways to pay my business bill

There are many ways to pay your Spark bill. From paying online, in person or with an automatic payment or direct debit. Find a way that works best for you. 

Credit/debit card, Online EFTPOS or POLi

Make a one-off payment by credit or debit card, Online EFTPOS or POLi. Pay a bill

Online EFTPOS lets you pay online securely with your bank app.

POLi allows you to pay directly from your bank account via your internet banking service.

Internet banking

  • Find Spark in the payees list or add our account number to your payees list: 01-1820-0000123-000
  • Use your Spark account number in the reference field
  • You can pay from overseas:
    • Use the swift code ANZBNZ22
    • Use the bank address ANZ Centre, 23-29 Albert Street, Auckland
  • You can get a reminder three days before your bill is due, either by email or text if you have a Spark mobile. If you want to set this up, you can do so in MySpark. Set up a bill reminder

Please note that we are no longer accepting Diners Club cards for payments.

Online EFTPOS lets you pay online securely with your bank app. It's a safe and easy way to pay from your bank account without exposing your banking credentials. Online EFTPOS is currently available to ANZ, ASB, BNZ, The Co-operative Bank and Westpac customers.

You can use Online EFTPOS to pay your bill in MySpark online or to make a one-off payment without signing in to MySpark. Pay a bill without signing in

To pay using Online EFTPOS:

  1. Choose Online EFTPOS as the payment method.
  2. Select your bank and enter your mobile number.
  3. Approve the transaction in your bank app.

You can find the Spark app in the Google Play Store or the App Store. Download the Spark app

  1. Open the app and select the Billing tab.
  2. Select Pay bill.
  3. Follow the remaining onscreen instructions. You can pay by credit or debit card or POLi.
  • Set up direct debit to automatically pay your bill from your bank account on the due date. To set this up, use MySpark or the Spark app.
    • Set up a direct debit using MySpark by selecting Set up a monthly payment in the Bill & payment screen. Set up a direct debit
  • Set up a direct debit using the Spark app by selecting Set up a monthly payment on the My bill screen
    • The direct debit will only come into effect from your next bill. If you select the checkbox to allow payment for your current bill, the first payment will be taken that day.

You can make changes to an existing direct debit in MySpark. Manage my monthly payments

  • Pay your bill from your Visa or Mastercard on the due date. To set this up, use MySpark or the Spark app:
    • Set up a recurring payment using MySpark. Set up recurring payment
    • Set up a recurring payment using the Spark app by selecting Set up a monthly payment on the My bill screen

    Note: The credit/debit card surcharge for all cards, including one-off and recurring payments, is 0.87% (plus GST, if any).

  • The recurring payment will only come into effect from your next bill. If you select the checkbox to allow payment for your current bill, the first payment will be taken that day.  
  • You can make changes to an existing recurring payment set up in MySpark. Manage my monthly payments

Call Spark Service Express on 0800 000 000 to make a payment with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express card.

The credit/debit card surcharge for all cards, including one-off and recurring payments, is 0.87% (plus GST, if any).

You can avoid these charges by paying online with POLi instead. Online EFTPOS lets you pay online with your smartphone directly from your bank app. POLi allows you to pay directly from your bank account via your internet banking service. Pay a bill online

  • Take your Spark invoice with you
  • A $2.70 fee applies when you pay your bill at a Post Shop. Find your nearest Post Shop
  • Spark stores accept payment by cash, EFTPOS and credit or debit card. Find your nearest Spark store
    • A charge of up to 0.87% applies if you pay by credit or debit card at a Spark store
  • It can take up to two business days for us to receive these payments
  • Contact your card provider to set up an automatic payment using your rural charge card
  • Eligible rural charge card companies are:
    • Farmlands
    • Ashburton Trading Society (ATS)
  • In your payment's reference details, include how you're splitting the payment
  • When you make a payment, include in the reference details the:
    • Payment date
    • Total amount paid
    • Breakdown of how much is to go into each account
  • If you enter an account number when internet banking, the whole payment will go into that account
