Release and transferring existing Starlink hardware

If you have existing Starlink hardware that you would like to use with Spark, this needs to be released by the current supplier before Spark can activate your new internet connection. 

Please note: When transferring your hardware to Spark, you will experience a temporary outage as your existing service needs to be cancelled as part of this process.

To minimise disruption and ensure a smooth transfer of service, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact your Client Lead to request a new Spark connection
  2. Give your Client Lead the details of your existing Starlink service
  3. Receive a call from the Spark Provisioning team to arrange a date and time to transfer your service
  4. Follow Starlink’s transfer of ownership instructions, which can be found here
  5. If your existing service is not directly with Starlink – please contact your current provider to organise release of your antenna
