Netvox R718PA7

The Netvox R718PA7 continuously monitors and captures noise levels with high accuracy, ranging from whisper-quiet to jet-engine loud.

It can be configured to monitor for specific decibel thresholds and can trigger text and email alerts whenever these noise thresholds are being exceeded.

 

 

  • Network connectivity: Spark LoRaWAN network
  • Noise detection range: 30dB – 130dB
    • 30dB is roughly equivalent to a whisper 

    • 130dB is comparable to standing next to an airplane during take-off 

  • Sampling accuracy: ±0.1dB
  • Frequency of sampling: every 3 minutes, configurable
  • Frequency of reporting: every 3 minutes
  • Power source: 12V DC power adapter
  • Ingress Protection: 
    • Sensor is IP65 – water resistant, but should not be fully submerged in water 

    • Power adapter is not IP-rated and should be installed indoors or within an IP-rated enclosure 

  • Installation:
    • Built-in magnet for temporary attachment to metallic objects 

    • Screws (not supplied) for permanent installation
