Thanks, Gigatown, we've got this.

Five years ago, Chorus ran a competition giving one lucky New Zealand town the fastest internet in the Southern Hemisphere. And the winner? The mighty Dunedin, beating 49 other towns to become New Zealand’s first Gigatown.

That meant the people of Dunedin were offered Fibre Max, with download speeds of between 700-900 Mbps, at a massively reduced rate for four years. Unfortunately, like all good things, Gigatown will be coming to an end - on 30 June, 2019. But the good news: the deal isn’t!

Get Gigatown speeds, on us!

While Gigatown is over, we’ve decided to extend the offer for another 12 months, until 30 June 2020. That means you’ll carry on getting the same Fibre Max speeds, at the exact same price. Your bill may look a little different from before, but the deal is exactly the same. Enjoy!

If you’re in a term contract, your term will remain the same too.
