Your Unplan Wireless Broadband has rules for how much data you can use set out in the terms and conditions. These rules allow us to protect our network so all Wireless Broadband customers can have a good experience using our service.
If your data usage exceeds 350GB in one month or 300GB a month for three consecutive months, we may change you (at our discretion) to Fibre or a different plan.
If you use more data than the terms and conditions allow, we'll contact you by email or SMS.
To stay on your current plan, you'll need to reduce the amount of data you use.
Tips for managing your data usage:
If you've used more than 350GB of data for a second monthly usage period, your current plan isn't right for you. We'll send you another email or SMS to let you know. You'll then have 30 days to decide what to do.
Your options are:
If you prefer to stay on this plan, you can. If your usage is still higher than 350GB in the next monthly usage period, we'll change your plan so it reduces your speed to 5Mbps when you use over 350GB in each monthly usage period.
At 5Mbps you can still do most things, like browse the internet, check your emails, message people and stream music. However, when you're streaming videos you’ll only be able to watch at standard definition and it may affect some online gaming. You can try out this option and see if it works for you. There's no fixed term so you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
