Spark stores at Alert Level 3 

As Auckland is currently at Alert Level 3, Spark stores from Warkworth to Pukekohe will be closed from today until Friday. 

However, our Warkworth, Albany, New Lynn, Queen St, Botany and Manukau stores will be operating as contactless emergency distribution centres. For urgent hardware needs, Auckland customers can call our customer care team on 123 to  arrange an urgent pick-up at one of these stores.

As per Alert Level 3 government regulations, stores remain closed to the public and pick-ups will be available by appointment only. All payments will need to be completed online. Payment for these stores will be charged to your account for all on account customers. For other customers, payments under $200 will be through contactless swipe as we will not be taking cash – there is no facility for online payment other than these options in advance of pick-up or delivery to ensure our services to our customers remain contactless. 

Our online store is operating as per normal. Hardware purchases can be made via the spark.co.nz website and shipped by courier.

Like our retail stores, Auckland Spark Business Hubs are closed during Alert Level 3 and our teams are working remotely. Business customers who need support can contact your  account manager, call 0800 Business or book a call online.

Spark stores at Alert Level 2 

For the rest of New Zealand which is currently at Alert Level 2, Spark stores are open to the public, but opening hours may vary. 

However, to keep our people and customers safe, stores are operating with additional safety protocols such as limiting the number of people in store and maintaining social distancing and hygiene requirements in line with the Government’s Alert Level 2 guidelines.

Additionally, those customers who are feeling unwell with cold/flu like symptoms, are currently being tested for, diagnosed with or have been in close contact with someone with  COVID-19, are advised to remain at home in isolation and may not be permitted entry to Spark stores. Customers who are unable to shop in store can sign in to MySpark online, use the Spark app, chat with us, or call our customer care team on 123.

Like our retail stores, Spark Business Hubs are open during Alert Level 2, but with additional safety and hygiene protocols such as limiting the number of people in the Hubs, social distancing, contact tracing and the use of hand sanitiser. As part of this, our teams are working on a split roster with some working remotely. As explained above, Spark Business Hubs will be collecting contact details of every person who enters the premises.
