Endless Group with Netflix Plan Terms

Below are the terms that apply to our Endless Group Mobile Plan. You agree to these Plan Terms, including any updates. Our General Terms and Mobile and Wireless Terms apply too. 

Different Plan Terms apply to our Endless Wearable Plan and our Endless Plan. 

Service Overview

Who is eligible to buy this plan?

  1. The Endless Group Plan is a Pay Monthly mobile plan that's available for personal use. With the Endless Group Plan, there is a lead mobile line that we call the Group Plan. You can add additional mobile lines called Companion Plans.

 

What’s included?

 

   The Group Plan and the Companion Plans will each get:

  1. Unlimited standard NZ and Australian texts. This includes person-to-person text messages (SMS) to NZ and Australian numbers only.
  2. Unlimited standard NZ and Australian minutes. This includes person-to-person calling to standard NZ and Australian numbers, excluding calls to premium and special numbers and roaming.
  3. Endless data for use on your mobile in NZ (speeds reduce to a maximum of 1.2Mbps after max speed data allowance exceeded). You’ll still be able to use your data like you did before, but you’ll experience some degradation (such as lower video resolution) when watching video, streaming or loading images after your max speed data allowance is exceeded.

What isn’t included?

  1. This plan provides you with Endless data to your mobile, but not to other devices. You can’t hotspot or tether on this plan unless you buy a Hotspot extra or if Hotspot data is included in your plan.

How the Group Plan Works

How it works

  1. The Group Plan works in conjunction with the Companion Plans. This document covers both. The Group Plan and the Companion Plans must be on the same customer account.
  2. A Companion Plan can only be bought if the Group Plan is active on the customer's account. 
  3. There’s a maximum of three Companion Plans that can be attached to a Group Plan. 

How will I be billed?

  1. The Group Plan and all Companion Plans will be subject to the same billing cycle. Your billing cycle won’t change if you add plans part way through your billing cycle. However, if you add a mobile plan part way through a billing cycle, you'll be charged for a part month so that we can bring all your lines into sync with your next bill.

What if I have no Companion Plan?

  1. If a Group Plan has no Companion Plans added on the same account, the account holder may be notified within 10 days. The account holder may choose to remain on the Group Plan or contact Spark to: 
    1.  Change the Group Plan to a single use Endless Plan or other Spark Pay Monthly Mobile plan; or 
    2. Add up to three Companion Plans.

What if I have no Group Plan?

  1. If the Group Plan on an account is inactive or removed, Spark will take one of the following actions on a customer’s account and notify the account holder:
    1.  If there's more than one Companion Plan, the oldest Companion Plan on the account will be upgraded to Group Plan; or
    2. If there's only one Companion Plan on the account, this remaining plan will be upgraded to a single use Endless Plan.

Minimum contract period

 

  1. There's no minimum term for the Group Plan or Companion Plan.

Terms for Added Extras

Notice period (cancellation)

  1. You’ll need to give us 30 days’ notice to end your plan. This is covered in more detail in our General Terms. 

 

Traffic management

  1. We might also have to pause, restrict, end or slow performance of your service if it’s necessary for us to protect our networks or manage traffic over our networks. We’ve covered this at clause 6.6 of our General Terms. You also need to use our services fairly – we’ve set out our rules on this at clause 2.6 of our General Terms.

Roaming

  1. The plan is capable of roaming and roaming charges will apply. View roaming charges

Other charges

  1. Spark standard rates for other services such as additional minutes and international calls, apply. View Pay Monthly standard rates

Other terms

  1. Either Spotify Premium or a Netflix Standard (Full HD) Plan are included in the Group Plan. Companion plans get discounted Spotify Premium.
