Buy a Prepaid pack or extra

Find out how to buy text, data or minutes for your Spark Prepaid mobile. You can buy them in packs, or specific types as extras. In the Spark app you can also set it up to auto renew your pack or extra when it expires.

Buy a pack or extra in the Spark app

You’ll need the latest version of the Spark app.

Sign in with your Spark ID (the same email address and password you use for MySpark online) or register if don’t have one. If you need some help, see Set up and use the Spark app

  1. In the Home screen of the app, select your Prepaid plan
  2. Tap Buy extras

    If you don't see this option, contact your account holder as you may not have access to buy extras for your plan
  3. Choose the pack or extra you want to add 
  4. Select a saved card or choose a payment method
  5. Choose if you want to auto renew the pack or extra when it expires 
  6. Review and confirm your purchase
  7. We'll send you a text message to let you know when your pack or extra is ready to use
  1. In the Home screen of the app, select your Prepaid plan
  2. Scroll down to Your plan and tap Details
  3. Select Auto renew then tap Enable auto renew
  4. Select a saved card or choose a payment method 
  5. Review and continue to set up your auto renew
  1. In the Home screen of the app, select your Prepaid mobile number
  2. Scroll down to Your plan and tap Details
  3. Select Auto renew
  4. Select Cancel auto renew

If you're using an older version of the Spark app, update to the latest version or follow the instructions below.

Buy packs or extras

  1. Choose MySpark from the menu button and select the Usage tab. 
  2. Select Buy pack or extra. If you don’t see this option, tap on the message about your usage. 
  3. Choose the pack or extra you want to add 
  4. Select a saved card or choose a payment method. 
  5. Choose if you want to auto renew the pack or extra when it expires . 
  6. Review and confirm your purchase. 
  7. We’ll send you a text message to let you know when your pack or extra is ready to use.

 

Set up auto renew

  1. Choose MySpark from the menu button and select the Products tab. 
  2. Select your Prepaid mobile number. 
  3. Scroll to Auto renew and select Set up. 
  4. Select a saved card or choose a payment method. 
  5. Review and confirm your auto renew.

 

Cancel auto renew

  1. Choose MySpark from the menu button and select the Products tab. 
  2. Select your Prepaid mobile number. 
  3. Select Cancel auto renew.
