Change mobile plan

Learn how to change your Spark mobile plan and how to see what plan you're on now.

Change a mobile plan

  • Prepaid customers can change their mobile plan once per 28 days
  • Pay Monthly customers can change their mobile plan once per billing month
  • There's no fee to switch to a more expensive plan. But if you're on a 12-month contract and you decide to downgrade plans within the first 12 months, you'll need to pay a fee. To find out more about downgrading your plan, chat with us. Message us
  • You don't need to sign a new contract when you switch if you're already on one. The time left on your current contract will still apply after you switch plans. If you're on one of our open term plans, choose a new open term plan.

How to change your mobile plan

You can change your Spark mobile plan online or in the Spark app.

From the app

You'll need the latest version of the Spark app.

  1. In the app, tap the menu button and choose MySpark from the menu
  2. Sign in or register to access your account
  3. Choose Products
  4. Tap on your current mobile plan
  5. Scroll down and select the Change plan button
  6. Swipe to view available plans
  7. Choose Select to choose your new plan, or tap on the plan card to see its benefits
  8. Follow the steps to confirm your new plan

From MySpark

  1. Sign in to MySpark
  2. Go to the Mobile details page by choosing My mobile
  3. Under More with three dots, choose Change plan
  4. Browse the options and select your new plan and connection date
  5. Select Continue
  6. Follow the steps to confirm your new plan

Business customers

To change your mobile plan, contact your local Business Hub or call 0800 BUSINESS.

Change from Prepaid to Pay Monthly

You can change your plan from Prepaid to Pay Monthly, but you'll need to set up a new account. This may involve a credit check. To set up a new Pay Monthly account, chat with us. Message us

See your current Spark mobile plan

You can see your current Spark mobile plan online or in the Spark app.

From the app

You'll need the latest version of the Spark app.

  1. In the app, tap the menu button and choose MySpark from the menu
  2. Sign in or register to access your account
  3. Choose Products to see a list of all the plans on your account
  4. Tap on the mobile plan to see more details, including the name of your plan, its allowances and benefits

From MySpark

  1. Sign in to MySpark
  2. Make sure you're on Mobile details page by choosing My mobile
  3. The name of your plan appears directly underneath Usage
