Change mobile plan

Learn how to change your Spark mobile plan and find out what plan you're on.

Change a mobile plan

  • You can change your mobile plan once per 28 days if you're a Prepaid customer or once per billing month if you're on Pay Monthly.
  • There's no fee if you're switching to a more expensive plan. However, if you're on a 12-month contract and you decide to downgrade plans within the first 12 months you will need to pay a fee. Live Chat to find out about downgrading your plan
  • You do not need to sign a new contract if you're already on one. The time you have left on it will still apply after you switch plans. If your contract is up - or you're on one of our open term plans - just choose a new open term plan.

How to change your mobile plan

From your mobile

  1. Sign in to the Spark app
  2. Go to the My Plan Details page by clicking on the arrow next to your plan name.
  3. Select Change Plan.
  4. Scroll down to the 'Change plan to' section. You can swipe right to view plans you can switch to.
  5. When you find the plan you want to change to, press Select.
  6. Follow the steps to confirm your new plan.

From a computer

  1. Sign in to the MySpark website
  2. Scroll to the Mobile section where you can view your usage.
  3. Select Change plan.
  4. Browse the options and select your new plan.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Follow the steps to confirm your new plan.

If you're a business customer

To change your mobile plan you need to contact your local business hub or call 0800 BUSINESS.

Change plan from Prepaid to Pay Monthly

You can change your plan from Prepaid to Pay Monthly, you'll just need to set up a new account. This may involve a credit check. You can choose either a new 24-month plan or an open term plan. Live Chat to find out how to change to Pay Monthly.

Find out what plan I'm on

To view the plan you're currently on, sign in to MySpark and select View plan and extras. You can also view your plan on the Spark app by selecting the My Plan Details screen. This screen outlines the amount of data, minutes and texts you've used.
