Learn how to confirm that your Huawei B315s has been connected successfully by checking its LED lights.
|POWER||The POWER LED should be a solid green. This indicates that your modem has been powered on.
|NETWORK||The NETWORK LED should be a solid blue. This indicates that your modem is connected to an LTE network. If this LED is green and solid, this means that the modem is connected to an ethernet network. If this LED is solid red, this means that the SIM card is not recognised or the PIN verification failed.
|WiFi||The WiFi LED confirms whether the WiFi service has been enabled on your modem. This LED being on means that your WiFi has been turned on. If this LED is flashing, that means a WPS connection is being set up. In the event that this LED is off, that means the WiFi has been disabled.|
|LAN/WAN||The LAN/WAN LED confirms whether there is a device is connected to the modem, or if an ethernet port has been connected. If this LED is on and steady, this means that either one of the LAN ports is connected to a device or that the WAN port is connected to an ethernet port. This LED being off means that either there is no device connected to a LAN port or that the WAN port is not connected to an ethernet port.|
|SIGNAL||The SIGNAL LED indicates the strength of the available reception. More bars mean a better reception. If this LED is off, that indicates no reception.|
